On March 18, 2019, the American College of Health Care Administrators presented one of its 2019 Eli Pick Facility Leadership Awards to Lucas Carroll, executive director of Life Care Center of Stonegate in Parker, Colorado.
The award, named in honor of visionary ACHCA member Eli Pick, is based on the criteria ranging from facility census to survey results. It acknowledges administrators who have guided their organizations to a higher level of quality.
“This award is an amazing accomplishment for this absolutely wonderful facility,” said Carroll. “The staff here are dedicated to providing the highest level of care each and every day. Even though it is such a prestigious award only given to a select number of facilities across the country, it is not surprising when you see this team work together and provide care to our patients.”
Carroll has been executive director at Life Care Center of Stonegate for a year and a half, during which time he has led the building to earn a deficiency-free state survey, as well as the American Health Care Association’s Silver Quality Award. The facility is also a 2018-2019 Best Nursing Home for Short-Term Rehab from U.S. News & World Report.
